Twist and remove the outer cover. Add water until the level reaches the indicated line. Add 3-4 drops of essential oil. Place the outer cover back on the diffuser and rotate until it locks into place. Plug the USB cable into a power outlet (if you haven't charged the diffuser before). Press the On/Off button to switch on. The diffuser will produce mist and the LED light will be on. Once the diffuser is charged you can remove the USB cable and operate unplugged.
