The Start of PhytoProd Farm and Distillery
Tucked away in the remote Moroccan countryside near Taounate, the PhytoProd farm has been producing some of the world’s finest organic essential oils since 2014. But what truly sets it apart is the dedicated team behind it—committed to empowering local communities and restoring ecosystems.
In a region where opportunities for women are scarce, PhytoProd prioritizes hiring locals, especially women, to provide fair wages and support financial independence. Workers harvest rosemary, myrtle, and other native plants, including endangered species that are carefully cultivated to protect them from overharvesting in the wild.
By growing these plants on its farm, PhytoProd helps restore natural habitats and preserve vital resources for generations to come.

- Micro-irrigation: A 1,500 km micro-irrigation network conserves water.
- Biodiversity preservation: Endangered and endemic plants are cultivated on the farm.
- Renewable energy: Solar power fuels operations, while biomass is recycled into compost and biofuel.
PhytoProd’s commitment to quality extends beyond its farming practices. With on-site labs, quality-control teams, and distillation and extraction facilities, the farm ensures full traceability, long-term sourcing, and guaranteed quality.
Oil Highlight
Native to the Mediterranean, rosemary thrives at PhytoProd’s farm, where it is harvested with care. After harvesting, the leaves are distilled on-site to produce high-quality Rosemary essential oil, valued for its fresh, invigorating aroma and versatile uses.
